Stafford Board of Finance Deals with Revenue Decline
STAFFORD — The Board of Education on Monday reduced $891,000 from its proposed $25.38million budget for 2009-10, as instructed by the Finance Board. The proposed education budget is $24.49 million, a slight increase from the 2008-2009 budget. Like many Towns in Connecticut, Stafford’s local and State revenues are down forcing boards to control spending.
